Hearing care you can rely on

Prior to visiting the Hearing Care Clinic for the first time, Toby – a former jet fighter pilot with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) – was concerned about a persistent ringing sound he was experiencing.

“I had gotten used to putting up with the ringing,” Toby said. “It was kind of a nuisance.”

It wasn’t just the ringing that was causing him trouble. Toby had been having difficulty listening to music, and social interactions were taking a toll on him.

“If I was in a crowded room, I would have trouble communicating or listening, understanding what was happening.”

After moving to Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island, Toby received a flier in the mail from the Hearing Care Clinic that offered to provide a hearing test. Toby took up the offer and visited the clinic in Mill Bay.

“It wasn’t until I did the test that I realized how much damage had been done,” Toby said. “When I saw the results, I realized I needed to get help.”

Toby attributes his hearing issues to his time spent with the RCAF. “I spent several years flying aircraft with noisy jet engines, so I was exposed to a lot of high frequency noise.”

Since receiving his first pair of hearing aids, Toby experienced significant improvements in all aspects of his hearing. He is now talking with his friends and family, both in person and over the phone. “I would say it’s been a huge benefit.”

He credits his hearing success to his initial visits and subsequent follow-ups to the Hearing Care Clinic as well as its owner, Carson Tiede.

“It was excellent service, and ever since then I’ve been extremely satisfied,” Toby said. “Carson is very conscientious and he’s very dedicated. He is very efficient and very well trained.”

Toby recently upgraded his hearing aids at the Hearing Care Clinic, and he has been highly impressed by the advancements in both comfort and technical ability that have been made in a relatively short amount of time.

“I have a new pair now that are rechargeable, they’re very comfortable, and I don’t notice that they’re there,” Toby said. “I have to feel behind my ear to see if I actually have them on.”

Toby has no plans to go elsewhere for any hearing related services he might need in the future. Expressing his admiration for Carson and the Hearing Care Clinic, Toby said he’s always received prompt and efficient service and that all his visits have proved more than satisfactory.

“You can rely on Carson,” Toby said. “I would recommend the hearing care clinic, especially as a means of discovering the state of your hearing.”The body content of your post goes here.
